This is to inform all that Rainier Satellite has now moved our official discussions 100% over to Satellite Home. The reason behind this move is this. We have been informed that certain members and sponsors on the TVROSAT forum are under investigation for promoting piracy. Its members and sponsors are also known for distributing equipment for these unlawful activities from offshore sources using Ebay and other vendors.
The TVROSAT forum and its sponsor Tek2000 (aka Alex Portillo, aka John Simpson, aka Carlos and other aliases) is under investigation by federal agencies and others for this and other activities. TVROSAT hides under the disguise that piracy talk is not permitted over there, but this information is freely posted in many threads with references to equipment and such. They are vey active in maintaing a database alerting pirates where to look for illegal channels using their equipment. Stooping so low to promote theft of service to sell products should be a red flag to anyone. Do not buy from these people, you will be burned. Piracy Never Works…..

In lieu of those illegal activities, Rainier Satellite has chosen to not be part of the theft of service promoting community TVROSAT. Rainier also refuses to be abused by members over there and don’t support or condone these unlawful activities. We refuse to be part of any community which harbors these type of members and said activities. Rainier works with law enforcement officials, Cisco, programmers and helps to prosecute such individuals when necessary. Rainier always has, and will continue to operate fully in compliance with the law.
Cisco Systems and the programmers has addressed the piracy problem and has it under control. Electronic countermeasures and other measures continue as pirate channels go dark daily. Piracy never works and purchasing such equipment is an unwise investment in the first place.
Rainier has worked hard to build a good reputation in the satellite industry. We stand on our merits and this good reputation. We carry only high quality products. We have an A+ rating with the better business bureau, and are an accredited business. We provide hands on technical phone support for all our subscribers. As a Rainier customer were not happy till your happy.
We want to personally thank DR. Sat and Satellite Home for allowing us a forum without all the pathetic negative press and drama that other competitor run forums allow out there. This continuous flow of negative information from those places with members bashing others and us does nothing good for the satellite industry.
